Is a new cryptocurrency mining boom on the way? Asian tech site MyDrivers claims NVIDIA send a notice to its add-in board (AIB) partners that demand for GPUs may spike again due to growing interest from the cryptocurrency segment. Coupled with the rumored production stop of current-gen high-end GPUs, this may result in some shortages.
