It's 2020 and DOOM runs on a pregnancy test

Twitter user foone decided to play around with a digital pregnancy tester. Interestingly, it seems these testers are now powerful enough to run the original DOOM. Of course, it looks like crap and isn't really enjoyable to play, but still a nice feat. The game reportedly ran on the tester's internal hardware, but foone did use a replacement OLED screen and his PC was supplying the power.

There’s a bit of trickery here though, the display isn’t the original one, and a PC is supplying power, but the rest is built-in hardware. It’s still rather hilarious though, and I suspect it may spawn a new wave of even more ridiculous devices running DOOM.

I tried zooming in and turning up the in-game gamma a bit, so you can see what's going on slightly better.
