Sony PSP firmware 2.01 to fight 'downgrading'

Posted on Sunday, October 02 2005 @ 01:26:59 CEST by

Recently we reported about a new exploit in Sony's PSP firmware 2.0 which could be used to downgrade your firmware to version 1.50 that can still run homebrew applications but this will come to an end soon as Sony will soon release firmware 2.01.

This system update will deal with the downgrading issue so users won't be able to run homebrew applications anymore.

More details over here.
