The first details about the next Apple Silicon chip have emerged. Via twitter, LeaksApplePro claims the Cupertino-based company's next ARM-based processor will be the M1X. This version will be a lot faster than the M1, which got released last week via the launch of lower-end products like the new MacBook Air. The Apple M1X allegedly has 12 cores, this includes 8 high-performance cores and 4 high-efficiency cores. The first product with the M1X is said to be a 16" MacBook Pro, you can expect it in Q1 2021.

The graphics and memory configuration are currently unknown, so we have to wait and see how it will look like. The M1X is set to arrive sometime in Q1 of 2021, according to the source of the leak, so be patient and remember to take this information with a grain of salt.
