Some new arrival dates are circulating about NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 Ti video card. We've been hearing about this model for close to half a year now. After several delays and specification changes, NVIDIA is finally getting ready to launch this high-end part.

Paperlaunch set for May 18

VideoCardz cites a report from a non-public Asian forum that reveals the full launch schedule of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti video card.

First up, NVIDIA is expected to announce the card on May 18th. This will be a paperlaunch event with no availability nor reviews. Reviews will reportedly hit the web on May 25th and cards will be "available" on May 26th.

According to the rumor mill, the RTX 3080 Ti packs a GA102-225 GPU with 10240 CUDA cores, 1365MHz base clock, 1665MHz Boost, a 384-bit memory bus, and 12GB GDDR6X memory clocked at 19Gbps. The TDP is expected to be 320W.

At least on paper, the card is expected to cost around $999. But of course, street prices will be a lot higher due to the current GPU shortages.
