Joystiq reports Nintendo may launch the Revolution console for a price as low as $99. This is still a rumour but it would be interesting as with such a low price the Revolution won't really be competing with the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 console.
It’s also important to remember that Nintendo doesn’t sell its consoles at a loss. If a $99 Revolution is a real possibility, we can expect the system to be only a fraction as powerful as the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
