VideoCardz reports AMD's Radeon RX 6600 (non-XT) launch is a go. As things stand right now, the card is expected to hit the market by mid-October. The product launch date is still a mystery but VideoCardz heard that the embargo date for the reviews is October 13th. Presumably, the product launch will be shortly after this date.
We received partial embargo information on this new card that is supposedly launching in mid-October. The embargoes listed below are clearly not meant for reviewers or retailers, but for board partners who will soon engage in a sample seeding program. AMD will require all AIBs to submit their list of samples by September 15th, which was last week. The shipping of the samples may commence on September 29th, but the samples cannot arrive before October 4th.
There will be no reference model from AMD, all Radeon RX 6600 cards will be custom-design models from AMD's board partners. The Radeon RX 6600 has 1792 stream processors and comes with 8GB GDDR6 memory.

How widely the card will be available, and at what price, is the big question mark. For the last couple of weeks, the availability of GPUs has been getting worse again, and prices are creeping up again.
