OCIA reviewed a Zalman 6000-Cu HSF :
Overall I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with this cooler. I expected temperatures to be much higher considering this is a "quiet" solution. Noise was not an issue with the fan we tested, even in normal mode. I could not hear this fan over my other case fans (all are 29 dBA). As we have demonstrated, temperatures at stock speed with NO fan proved to be "acceptable". The idea of running this cooler on a lower clocked system without using the fan is a reality. Zalman has done an excellent job with this heatsink.
