Is AMD Delaying 65nm?

AMDZone also has details on AMD’s delay of 65nm technology in Fab 36 as they show AMD stating that Fab 36 would not use 90nm.

I really think Mr. Sonderman should be asked why he stated that fab 36 would be 65nm from the start, when the company line is now that the fab will be 'substantially converted to 65nm by 2007'. I suppose he could wiggle out of his statements by saying he was referring to R&D activities within the FAB counting as 65nm manufacturing, if it was not for one detail. Read on over here.
