With the introduction of a 20-inch LCD TV, ViewSonic further expands its full-line of high-definition television (HDTV)-ready displays. The NextVision N2050w wide-screen display is optimized for television, video entertainment and PC applications, making it an ideal solution for the office desktop, dorm room or kitchen counter.

At an estimated street price of $549, the N2050w offers consumers a stylish and affordable option for smaller-screen television and video entertainment. Multiple connectivity features—including composite, component (YPbPr) and S-Video—enable simple connection to PCs, cable, game consoles, DVD players and camcorders. An 8 millisecond response time minimizes ghosting for motion video and high-speed gaming. Compatibility with HDTV (480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i) and progressive scan DVD players, along with an advanced processor with reverse 3:2 pull down and 3D motion adaptive comb filter, combine to deliver a consistent, high-quality digital visual experience.

The N2050w provides vivid colors and sharp life-like images with 500 nits of brightness, a 1366x768 resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It also includes a built-in 10-watt audio system for high-fidelity sound, an integrated NTSC tuner, and a deluxe universal remote control for single device management of entertainment peripherals such as DVD, stereo and cable boxes. In addition, full picture-in-picture and split-screen functionality allow viewers to preview two video inputs simultaneously.
