VIA debuts K8M890 chipset with DirectX 9 support

VIA has launched the new K8M890 chipset which features the S3 Graphics DeltaChrome IGP to meet the requirements of Windows Vista.
Enabling support for DirectX 9.0 and Pixel Shader 2.0 for high quality video processing, the VIA K8M890 also boasts the Chromotion Video Display Engine for enhanced visual output, including support for all HDTV output formats up to 1920×1080, advanced 2D/3D graphics capabilities, comprehensive de-interlace support and DuoView for enhanced productivity and presentation capabilities.
