VR-Zone unveils ATI will soon launch even cheaper low-end versions of the new Radeon X1000 series. This will be the RV505 which will be made by TSMC and the RV506 that will be made by UMC.

Both GPUs will be made on a 80nm process instead of 90nm. The RV505/506 GPU will be similar to the Radeon X1300LE/Pro with 120 million transistors and 4 pixel pipes along with 2 vertex shader units and it will be officially launched as Radeon X1300CE.

The clockspeed of these GPUs will be 300-350MHz and they will replace the current Radeon X550 series. It will also replace the current Radeon X300 Hyper-Memory graphics cards.
