Acer preparing Ferrari LCD displays

Engadget reports Acer has extended its relationship with Ferrari to LCD displays. Both firms already ship notebooks and now they will also launch 19" and 20" LCD displays.

The F-19 is the 19-inch model with a 1280 x 1024 SXGA resolution, 400cd/m2 brightness, 500:1 contrast ration and a response time of 8ms (grey-to-grey). Another feature are integrated 2W speakers.

The F-20 is the 20-inch widescreen model with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 WSXGA+, 300cd/m2 brightness and a 800:1 contrast ratio. This display has 5W speakers.

Only 1,000 models will be produced. The F-19 will sell around $550 and the F-20 for $760.
