Intel 965 chipsets to be launched in Q2 2006

In the second quarter of 2006 we can expect Intel to launch the 965-series 'Broadwater' chipsets. These chipset series will be divided into two segments: the P965 and G965 for the consumer-market Bridge Creek platform and the Q965 and Q963 series for the business Averill platform.

All of these chipsets, except the P965, use Intel's Graphic Media Accelerator graphics core.
