AMD to launch Athlon 64 FX-60 in January

The Inquirer reports AMD will launch the AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 processor in the second week of January.

According to a few testers the chip easily clocked to 3GHz on air, allowing to break the 15000 barrier in 3DMark05 with the new NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB cards.
