The Inquirer gives us an update on Intel's server roadmap.
As we reported last week, 65 nanometre Xeons are likely to appear in the first half of next year. There's no big deal on clock speeds - but Intel is attempting to fight this battle on features including VT, DBS, and other elements like iAMT which will make corporate buyers feel that bit safer and more able to stop clucking over the eggs being hatched in their data centres.
Against that, it seems that AMD will continue to lead on several features during 2006 - the boards our sources saw look like winners in several areas.
