ATI's Radeon X1800 XT still barely available

The ATI Radeon X1800XT cards were launched about 2.5 weeks ago but today it's still impossibly to get them in most parts of the world.

The Inq today reports Newegg has a couple of Connect 3D X1800XT cards in stock and later this week Dell should have them in stock too. But both companies ask $599 for the card, which is $50 more than the $549 MSRP.
When it comes to the old continent we failed to find a single X1800XT cards in Europe. We learned that some of the cards have been shipped but most of them went to OEM's and System integrators. We heard that you can buy one of these cards in a system but not in retail or etail. We know that certain UK System integrators got some cards and sold then in PC's last week.
More info over here. NVIDIA on the other hands is getting ready to ship its second batch of GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB cards later this week as the first batch was sold out almost immediately after launch.
