Nintendo will disclose lots of details about its upcoming Revolution console before the E3 show and yesterday Revolution-Europe posted a rumour regarding the disc format used by this console.

According to the website Nintendo teamed up with Panasonic to develop a DVD disc with a storage capacity of 12GB.

This will be enough to store high-definition content but it's important to note that the Revolution console won't support the HDTV standard. According to Jeuxfrance the company wanted to cut development costs of video games by removing this feature.
