DigiTimes reports Asus has started shipping the Intel-based A6Vm and AMD-based A6Km notebooks. These systems feature NVIDIA's GeForce Go 7300 and come with a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display.
“By adding a GeForce Go 7-series mobile GPU, it's clear that the ASUS A6Vm and A6Km series have been designed to provide users a powerful processing platform with all the 3D and video capabilities of a true Multimedia Notebook,” stated Rob Csongor, General Manager of Notebook GPUs at Nvidia.

In addition, the new A6 notebook lines also incorporate a built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam and Bluetooth enhanced data rate (v2.0 + EDR) module for better connectivity, said Asustek.

The A6Vm model is priced at NT$28,800 (US$860) in Taiwan, whereas a suggested retail price for the A6Km would be slightly cheaper depending on local retailers, according to the company.
