Quake 4 1.05 beta dual-core Nvidia GPU driver performance issue

AMDZone's extensive testing of the new Quake 4 beta patch 1.05 has revealed an issue with many of the latest Nvidia 80 series drivers. The 1.05 beta patch adds SMP or dual core performance enhancements, but some Nvidia GPU users whether using AMD64 CPUs, HyperThreading Intel CPUs, or dual core P4 CPUs could not be getting the benefits.
