ATI Radeon X1900 has 48 pixel shaders

This week ATI released some marketing material about its R580 to its add-in-board partners, AnandTech reported.

The company confirms the Radeon X1900 (R580) GPU will feature 48 pixel shader processors and higher clockspeeds than the Radeon X1800.

ATI also revealed there will be two versions of the R580, the RX1900CF "Master Card" and the RX1900 "CrossFire Ready" card.
