Sudhian took a look at three laser based mice, the Logitech G5, Logitech G7 and the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000:
Mice are becoming like graphics cards. New models arrive every year that promises higher tracking resolutions and enhanced gaming performance. 2005 is the year of the laser with the two major players releasing new laser mice. Laser mice have their spot in the gaming world for their high tracking resolutions that offer FPS players faster motion and greater reaction times. While a better mouse doesn’t necessarily improve your gaming skills it does give you a slight edge if your mouse movements aren’t lagging behind what you actually want to do.
