Firefox 2.0 planned for June 27

The Firefox developers posted some information on their Wiki about the development of Firefox 2.0. Their goal is to release the final version by June 27, 2006.

Some of the top priorities in this version are:
  • A new bookmark and history system
  • Improved tabbed browsing
  • Fully integrated RSS functionality
  • Enhancements to the Extension Manager
  • Search Engine UI improvements
  • Platform patch uplift
  • Anti-phishing
  • And much more
