Mustek MP100 Portable DVD Player with rotating LCD display

Mustek released the new MP100 Portable DVD player which features a rotating 16:9 widescreen 10" LCD display and support for the DivX format.

The MP100 plays DVDs, CDs, MPEG4 (DivX, XviD and AVI), videos burned on DVD-R/RW's, MP3 music, Kodak Picture CDs and MMC/SD memory cards used for storage in digital cameras, music players and camcorders.

Emphasizing the audio as well as the video experience, the MP100 lets consumers enjoy rich CD, CD-R and CD-RW playback through built-in stereo speakers or stereo headphones. And to make the most of a DVD’s high-resolution audio it has a decoder that outputs a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital bitstream for surround sound effects that rival home theaters.

The MP100 measures 11.1” x 7.7” x 1.8”, and weighs 2.7 lbs. It is available for $299.99.
