Fujifilm today launched the slim FinePix F470 digital camera at CES 2006. This six megapixel digital camera features 3x optical zoom and a large 2.5-inch LCD display.

Picture-taking environments can vary depending on many factors, such as lighting, location, etc., and changes in a camera's settings are often necessary to produce the most eye-pleasing picture. The FinePix F470 makes the selection of these settings a snap by offering a helpful set of 10 scene modes that provide the correct setting for picture success. These scene modes include the familiar "Portrait", "Sport", "Landscape" and "Night" settings, as well as more defined settings such as "Beach and Snow", "Sunset", "Museum", "Party", "Flower Close-Up" and "Text" along with a manual mode.

The FinePix F470 also has 16MB internal memory. It will be available in March for $279.
