A couple of days ago I posted photos of a Quad SLI system, Dell and NVIDIA are showing this off over at CES 2006 in Las Vegas.

This system will be available in Spring and for the time being no one else than Dell will have it.
We saw the machine and we have to admit that it sounds cool even everyone knows that Dell is not going to sell many of them. The machine we saw had Nvidia reference motherboard and two of these cards together. The cards are very special as they actually have two PCB's and two coolers each and were using total of four Geforce 7800 GTX 512 chips or should we just say four G70 chips. It comes to total 2 GB graphic memory.

Cards are interconnected inside and only the "master" of two cards is plugged into the PCIe slot so the motherboard still has two PCI only.
More details over here.
