Posted on Saturday, January 14 2006 @ 10:03:07 CET by

Intel's new motherboard roadmap is listing a new motherboard based on one of ATI's chipsets. Later this quarter Intel will ship a new motherboard codenamed Grand County 2 and it will feature ATI's Radeon Xpress 200 chipset.
The board will be very similar to its predecessor, but this time will support DDR 2 memory. D101GGC supports DDR1 memory only. It is a micro ATX motherboard with integrated graphic and PCIe graphic slot, it has two PCI slots and one PCIe slot.
In Q2 2006 we can expect another ATI based motherboard from Intel and according to some sources it may feature HDMI support. More info at The Inq.
