With RCA, S-Video, PC and TV Tuner capabilities, not many models can match it in usage. The picture quality is only as good as the medium you use to deliver it. Even at coax, the image is clear enough to enjoy from a few feet away.
The built in stereo speakers are more than adequate at normal sound levels. At higher levels there were some extra noise, but it should not pose a problem since we turned it up to the max. Not too many people view their television programming that way.
This model is a definite recommendation if you are in the market for an all in one solution. If this was available back then in college, space limitations would have been less of a problem. The price of the unit may scare off a few people, but if you factor in all the options you are receiving in the 171MP, the benefits out weigh the costs.
