Posted on Friday, January 20 2006 @ 22:15:42 CET by

AMD will cut prices of its desktop processors on January 23 and again on February 13th. Intel on the other hand will cut its prices on April 23th, together with the launch of the dual-core 960 which will be clocked at 3.6GHz with a 800MHz FSB.

However, a price cut for the Celeron processors is planned on January 22 and also the 840 processor will receive a price reduction on that date.
