AMD's marketshare jumps above 20 percent

AMD has just gained over 20% of the market in the 4th quarter, as a result of surging sales in every market.

"For the first time in years, Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) has surpassed 20% in processor market share. Next week Mercury Research will announce the new market share results, which may come as a surprise to many. AMD’s share of the processor market was 17.7% in the third quarter and surged up 20% to give AMD a 21.4% market share.."
