Nordic Hardware just posted a news article about Crotale and mmouse overclocking
attempts with X1900XTX and X1900 CrossFire. Crotale used an overclocked
X1900XTX to reach 50079 with 3DMark2001, which is a new world record with
ATI, and 15000+ with 3DMark05. mmouse on the other hand used a X1900
CrossFire setup to score, among others, 10000+ with 3DMark06. Crotale used
a 955XE and mmouse a 4800+, both overclocked a lot of course, to reach
these tremendous scores.
"The first day, we tested how much the graphics card could handle when it
comes to cooling. Chefnr1 container and LN2 for the graphics card and a
single stage unit for the CPU. The card managed -50C which was quite ideal
for the single stage cooler for the next day.."
