Firefox proudly announced on Thursday that they have exceeded the 150 million downloads mark but it appears that they haven't reached the milestone yet.

They have updated the message, stating that there was a bug in their counter. They accidentally counted 20 million people who updated from Firefox 1.5 to Firefox 1.5.0.1 this week and at press time the browser has 'only' been downloaded 140,727,612 times.

So it will still take about 9.25 million downloads before they'll hit the 150 million mark.
