Intel notified its server customers of an upcoming range of processors in the third quarter with 4MB L2 cache and a 1066MHz FSB.
It will introduce the E6700, a 2.67GHz dual core processor, the E6600, a 2.40GHz CPU which also has 4MB of cache, but has some 2MB cache processors in that family too.

These are the E6400 and the E6300, clocking at 2.13GHz and 1.86GHz - each having 2MB of cache.

Prices are likely to be around $529, $315, $240 and $210 respectively but Intel will precipitate a price crash on other processors on the 23rd of April.
In April the chip giant will also launch a Pentium D 960 3.6GHz processor with 800MHz FSB and 2x 2MB L2 cache.
