Today at 3GSM World Congress 2006, Motorola and Yahoo! demonstrate the use of Yahoo! Podcasts on a mobile device, showcasing the future of how consumers access entertainment on the go.

As part of the continuing Motorola and Yahoo! relationship, this mobile application would allow consumers to not only drag and drop podcasts directly from the PC straight to their mobile phone through the Yahoo! Music Engine, but would also let consumers directly download podcasts over-the-air* to their handset using an integrated application. Demonstrated on a Motorola RAZR V3x, the application is extremely flexible and may be made available on a variety of Motorola handsets.

Yahoo! and Motorola first announced their wide-ranging relationship in July 2005. The companies are collaborating to provide consumers with easy access to Yahoo!'s core products and services on millions of Motorola mobile devices and broadband-enabled products for the connected home. In January 2006, Yahoo! and Motorola announced they are working to globally launch Yahoo! Ready for Motorola devices to give consumers an easy way to access and use their Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Address Book and Yahoo! Calendar services while on the go.
