Apple upgraded MacBook Pro and starts shipping them

Apple announced its Intel Core Duo based notebooks more than a month ago and this week they'll finally start shipping them!

One important detail is that Apple upgraded the specifications of their MacBook Pro notebooks.

The $1,999 model now has a 1.83GHz Core Duo processor instead of a 1.67GHz model and the $2,499 model features a 2.0GHz processor instead of a 1.83GHz one.
