Intel Conroe to have SSE4 instruction set

Intel's upcoming Conroe processor (and Merom too) will feature the SSE4 instruction set.

This new SSE instructions feature "Significant Video Enhancements" like Clear Video Technology (CVT). CTV is somewhat Intel's answer to ATI's Avivo and it also includes UDI support.
Both of these technologies seem dependant on the 965 core logic and not necessarily the CPU. Other Intel corporate roadmaps have defined CVT as: Intel Clear Video Technology supporting advanced decoding, post-processing capabilities and enhanced 3D
