Sony WEGA KDE-42XS955 Review

Posted on Wednesday, June 08 2005 @ 22:42:55 CEST by LSDsmurf

Ranked seventh overall out of the eight TVs we tested, Sony's KDE-42XS955 took either last or second-to-last place in six of our seven rating criteria. (And its third-from-bottom ranking for DVD quality was not inspiring, either.) Its sound performance--from the pair of 25-watt integrated side speakers and the 50-watt removable rear-mounted subwoofer--was solid, with plenty of power, clean tones, and minimal distortion at high volume. Unfortunately, this TV's good quality traits end there.
