Apple's latest music player, the iPod Shuffle, is an attempt at claiming some of the lower end of the MP3 market. Unlike previous iPods, the Shuffle does not contain a hard disk. This has been replaced with flash memory. The iPod Shuffle also lacks a screen, something that may come as a godsend to some, yet a major annoyance to others..
