Windows Vista is supposed to have a technological advancement over today’s software, including enhanced compatibility, feasibility, and better media support. However, with this new software comes a new hardware requirement as well as recommendations. As far as Windows XP is concerned, everyone knows that 512x2 combination based 1GB dual channel memory is the maximum needed, but with Vista, this bar is raised to 2GB. Windows Vista is slated for mid-2006 or so, not in the near future, is it? The beta versions have already hit the hands of beta testers. They can tell you the difference..
