The Pioneer AirWare XM Satellite Radio Receiver isn't much of a pioneer in the handheld satellite radio market, mainly because it has the exact same features as the other current XM2go products, the two made by Delphi and Tao. The only thing that separates the three is their design: The Pioneer unit eschews the curvy look in favor of a sleeker, techier style that looks a bit like an oversize cell phone. It works just as well as the others, but we're rating it just a bit lower because of a couple of drawbacks in its design..
