The Asus Xtreme Radeon AX1800XL compared to the X850XT PE and the GeForce 7800GT on the Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe with Half Life 2, Doom 3, Far Cry, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, and 3DMark2005.

Asus Extreme AX1800XL video card is simply an excellent card and proof that ATI still has life left in it and more to ammunition to fire back with. While Asus have done nothing special here, it remains an excellent card on what already was a good design. Now with SM 3.0 shaders, better memory management, extra features, and a good price. While Asus software bundle might need a revision to more top quality software, the quantity and mass of software included in addition to the leather bound case is a nice option.
