I received a black unit although it also comes in a light silver color. In black, it looks quite sexy in a minimalistic way. Ok, so they still have their company name, model, and “mic” plastered on the front, but, by today's standards, that's pretty minimalistic. The slider on the backside does have the usual junk that is prevalent on most players (FCC, SRS, brief list of features, etc). There are only small hints of silver/chrome on the menu button and the circular pad outline..
