The DomeHub is well designed from a few standpoints. First, it has some mass to it. This is important as you don’t want your USB hub being dragged around the desk at the whimsy of the wires plugged into it. This one won’t. Also, the bottom is cushioned so it won’t damage your desk surface. Seriously, don’t underestimate this, the last USB hub I looked at, I had to go and purchase those felt circles before I could even think about putting in on my desk. The silver plastic color scheme of the device will likely complement most setups- unless you think your beige desktop is cutting edge fashion!
