Avast! is a small, robust, casusal game designed around boardgame-like design with simple strategic elements very similar to chess or checkers. With a pirate/maritime theme, players will find Avast! fun and easy to play. The full version of Avast! comes with 50 levels of game play, and beautifully rendered artwork. The story of this game is fairly straight forward. At the start of the game you take control of a young lady who is the owner of a bar called “The Lonely Rose”. Unfortunately you’re not very good at it and now have tons of debts to pay off. Business doesn’t look like it’s going to be picking up anytime soon and so in order to pay off the debts you sell the bar, buy a boat and decide to go hunting for pirates to get the rewards… because naturally when you’re in deep financial trouble selling off your only real asset and becoming a pirate bounty hunter is the best choice that makes absolute sense but I digress.
