The fan blades on the Enermax UC-12EB are claimed to be cleanable, which can be a tough job when they are not removable and a few months of dust gets caked on to the blades. With the detachable fan this task is much easier. It took a little bit of force to remove the blades, but once they were off they could be cleaned with a can of air or even washed/soaked in water.
