So you have got your new Doom 3 rig all built up, X800Xt, 1GB of ram, Quick HDD's so how are you going to power all this? The PSU I would say is the single most overlooked component in a modern day system. This is changing with the chipset giants specifying minimum wattage ratings for their new top end cards. If you have the money to spend always get the highest rated most expensive PSU you can afford it is well worth it.
