Arima U300 Symbian Marvel Review

Arima is one of the largest phone manufacturers in the world, though you may not have heard the name before. They produce handsets under contract for other companies, such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Motorola, among others. Their first Symbian smartphone is the U300, which is based on the UIQ 2.1 operating system popularised by the Sony Ericsson P900. The U300 is one of the most powerful UIQ devices announced, and is easily small enough to be pocketable, something the P900 and Motorola's A925 can't claim. The U300 is a triband phone and features a 1.3 megapixel rotating camera with a LED flash and the ability to record video at 30 frames per second. There's also Bluetooth along with 16MB of RAM and 32MB of flash storage. No word on whether it will have a memory expansion slot, but it would be a real shame to have such a capable device miss out on what is now an essential feature on smartphones.
