Callpod recently introduced a couple of new Bluetooth headsets and I’ve got one for review today called the Onyx. The Onyx is the less expensive of the two headsets, but it has basically all of the same features as the more expensive Verto headset. The Onyx offers up to eight hours of talk time with up to 164 feet of range, and it has the ability to be a walkie-talkie when paired with another Callpod Bluetooth headset so it offers even more functionality. It can be paired with two devices at the same time, and it will switch automatically between them as needed. I found the Onyx to have very good call quality and it’s also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
