The first step is going to be deciding what shape window you want. I'd recommend not going for the biggest rectangle you can possible have: too many premod cases are like this, and showing off your drive cages seems a bit pointless to me. I wanted my window to match the fan grilles I'm going to be using throughout the case, so I blew up an image of one until it was the size I wanted. It's not a particularly big window - trust me though, small is going to be really big.
