Sharp BD-HP90S Review

This device receives just three out of five stars from TechRadar. The site says this Blu-ray player has an eye-catching design but has some 1080/60 playback issues and is slow to load discs.

"Sharp's first 3D player elicits gasps when you unpack it. The wafer-thin design, with black top-plate and gunmetal trim, is certainly dramatic. You can even choose how you want to use it: flat or vertical (a plastic stand is included). To flatten it even more, the power supply has been relegated to an external 12V brick. There's no disc loading tray, just a slot mechanism that sucks your platters in. And the HDMI output, optical digital audio out and power lead have been inventively recessed in the base."
